Virtual Bodyguard

Virtual Bodyguard BV is a cybersecurity software company founded in 2021 with a clear mission to ensure that employees never open a malicious file again. Cybersecurity should not depend on an individual’s alertness. Therefore, our vision is to develop software that enables users to work “AwareLess.”

Content, Disarm, and Reconstruction (CDR) technology effectively helps companies to keep out malware. Bodyguard is the world’s first software company to provide this technology as a desktop solution. By doing so, we want to facilitate any organization to use CDR as an additional layer of security.

Bodyguard is located on the Hague Security Delta (HSD) campus, the Dutch security cluster. More than 275 companies, government organizations, and knowledge institutions have worked together since 2013 to make a difference in securing our digitizing society. They share their knowledge and work together on innovative security solutions that scale within the Netherlands and internationally.
